5 stars for an amazing cevichito, great beer selection and an atmosphere that manages to be divey AND romantic (don't take my word for it, GO).
They had one of my favorite IPA's on tap (the Elysian Space Dust, yum) and a host of other fantastic local beers. We also had the diablo burger, which was delicious.
Next time I will definitely get the ceviche again and try one of the sandwiches. -

Tucked away in Downtown on the corner of a hidden alleyway of restaurants is Station 28, a casual walk up Peruvian eatery with outdoor seating and a cozy street food ambiance. My boyfriend and I finally stopped in after passing by it frequently and noticing how busy it normally is.
We each got an entree, I had the Lomo Saltado $9.99 which will forever be one of my favorite Peruvian dishes. You could tell that they prepared it fresh to order which was nice since it was still steaming when I received it. The flavors were good and they serve you generous portions which I enjoyed. Was it the best lomo saltado I've ever had? No, but for the price and quality in the Downtown Miami area still recommend it.
The reason for the lacking star is for my boyfriends entree that was very mediocre compared to what we were expecting. He decided to try something from their Burger menu (they identify as a burger place) and ordered the Diablo Burger $8.99: 1/2 pound premium beef, cheese, tomato, potato sticks, fried egg, and spicy sauce. We both loved the spicy sauce and build/ingredients of this burger, even the bread seemed very fresh. The issue was with the burger patty that just really lacked in flavor and almost tasted if it had been previously frozen which I couldn't get on board with.
All in all, still a casual spot worth checking out to grab a quick meal and beer with friends. Would still go back and try other Peruvian menu items! -

This could possibly be one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite in Miami. Station 28 is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown. Nestled in an alley in between buildings this place offers some of the best ceviche and salmon in town! Their menu has a good selection of burgers and Peruvian dishes, but my husband and I always go for the ceviche and salmon! Both are served with mashed sweet potatoes, these dishes are great lunch choices!
I don't want to forget to mention that seating is limited...but the food is worth standing for -

Simple great food. Refreshing drinks and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a place to seek out if your in DT Miami.

Love this place! The food is great and the mood in there is FUN! Peruvian burgers have never been better! When in Miami, stopping by at Station 28 is a must! If you want BIG burgers or traditional Peruvian food, this is the place for that and great craft beers, too!
